GIAT is a National IRFU Initiative where girls aged 8-14 years (born 2008-2012) can learn to play rugby in a fun environment. The programme consists of fun rugby sessions aimed at teaching the girls the basics of rugby over 8 weeks commencing Monday 26th July on the all-weather pitch at Cappagh Park. The programme will be delivered by qualified coaches from Galway Bay Rugby Club – Laura Ruddy and Ines Delgado -along with visiting coaches and players from Connacht Women’s Rugby.
