Des Ryan works for Setanta College as Director of Coaching & Performance. Des is one of the leading youth coaches and performance managers in sport and a world-renowned practitioner and speaker in the field of youth athletic development.
Des is the former Head of Sport Medicine & Athletic Development at Arsenal Football Club Academy, which he has held for over 8 years and where he has re-shaped the concept of player development within the world of football.
He has previously served as Head of S&C at Connacht Rugby, S&C to Ireland and as Fitness Education Manager within the IRFU, where he spent over 13 years developing the IRFU’s coach and player development system.

Antoine Mobian is the Head of Strength and Conditioning for the University of Galway. His role is physically prepare the university of Galway’s sport teams and clubs including Basketball, rowing, middle distance & cross country, athletics, rugby and elite scholarships athletes. He also worked with a number of athletes for the preparation of the Tokyo Olympics 2021 and preparing for the Paris Olympics 2024.
For 8 years Antoine worked with Connacht Rugby as Lead Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach and during that time Antoine helped developing young talented players into professional and international athletes such as Jack Carty, Ultan Dillane, Tiernan O’Halloran, Kieran Marmion, Dave Heffernan, Finlay Bealham and Robbie Henshaw. He worked with the Ireland U18 team which reached the European Cup final on two occasions.Since September 2023 he is also part of the U20 Galway hurling set-up.
Antoine is a certified International Trainer with World Rugby and has been a lecturer for Setanta College for the past 14years. He is a member of the Galway Bay Rugby U12 Coaching group.
